Welcome to the Valentine's Day holiday of R4H. Just read the crafts, tips, projects, and get started because you've never prepared for a holiday like you're gonna with R4H, brought to you by VITAMIN D!

GIVE YOUR CRUSH A SPECIAL CARD!

Take some red felt and cut out a heart. Make sure it’s really big. Now cut a short diagonal slit on the bumps of the heart and near the bottom point. Set this part aside. Get a small rectangle of your fave color, and write a poem.. Sign it with “xoxoxox” and include a small pic of you near your signature. Now back to the heart. Squeeze some clear glue all over the heart and sprinkle glitter. Take the paper and insert it into the holes. Now take some string, cut a small hole on top of the heart “bumps” and leaf it through. The finished project should look like the poem corners inserted through the slits of the heart, with a hanger. Wrap it up, hang it on your crush’s locker, etc.

HOMEMADE BEAR

Pick out a festive fabric. It could be hearts, flowers, or other. Draw a simple bear outline, as big or small as you wish, and cut it out. This will be your stencil. Lay the stencil over the fabric, and carefully snip out the shape. Do this one more time, to have 2 bear shapes out of the fabric. Now thread the 2 fabrics with a matching color thread,  or use an available sewing machine. Leave the top of the head open. Now take some cotton and fill up the bear, as fluffy as you want. Now take some beans and stuff in the hands, and feet only. When finished with that, finish sewing. Get black and tan felt and cut out 2 oval shapes small enough for eyes and glue/sew on. Take the tan felt and cut out 2 ovals. Sew below the eyes, to be the cheeks. Take 1 more smaller oval and glue on top of those ovals, and sew on that a black nose. If you and your b/f are going out, you can put those Whitman Samplers on the bear so it's holding the pack of sweets! Give the bear to your cutie, and watch the expression when you tell him you made it!

HEARTFELT PILLOW

Buy a red satin fabric. It could be a fabric, velvet or other type. Make sure it's bigger than your head. Cut out a huge heart shape, again bigger than your head. Cut out another one, so you have 2 heart shapes. Sew the heart shapes together, leaving a hump of the heart unsewed. Fill the heart with cotton, to your desired fluffiness, then finish sewing. If you wish, you can add a message on the heart, such as "I LUV U" or "UR SWEET".  Just cut out big white letters and sew/glue them on. Wait until thoroughly dry if you glue it before testing it out! This would also make a cute gift.
